R. C. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Shirpur was established in June 1992 with the aim to enhance the quality education in the field of Pharmacy and empower the quality pharmacist so that they serve the society to develop lifesaving drugs. Right from its establishment the institute has maintained the quality with assurance in terms of Accreditation from National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi (NBA) twice on 2005 and 2009 for the B. Pharm course. Institute also accredited by NAAC, Bangalore for the period of 5 years.
Post : Project Research Scientist-i (Non-Medical)
Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist-1 (Non- Medical) position in an ICMR funded project at the Department of Pharmacology, R. C. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Shirpur, Maharashtra. The selected candidate will be encouraged to register for the Ph.D. The requisite qualifications & experience etc., are given below.
Funding Agency : Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)
Salary : Rs. 56,000/-pm + HRA {@9&)
Duration of Project : 2 years
Educational qualifications : M.Pharm / MS in Pharmacology / Biotechnology
Desirable Qualification and Experience : • GPAT/GATE/NET qualified candidates will be preferred.
• Candidate having experience in network pharmacology, cell culture protocols, molecular biology protocols, animal handling, surgery in experimental animals, will be given preference. Experience or basic knowledge in in vitro cell culture and fundamental knowledge of molecular pharmacology will be preferred.
Job Profile
The primary focus areas of the project are:
• In vitro and in vivo assays
• Western blotting
• RT-PCR
• Cell culture techniques
