Banaras Hindu University is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. This Creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, in 1916 with cooperation of great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. Banaras Hindu University was d under the Parliamentary legislation - B.H.U. Act 1915. It played a stellar role in the independence movement and has developed into the greatest center of learning in India.
Post : Project Research Scientist-1
Applications are invited for one post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) to work in an ICMR sponsored research project (BHU Project code: P-14/0786) entitled “Evaluation of diagnostic and therapeutic potential of phosphodiesterase against different stages of T cell lymphoma”.
Salary : The stipend payable will be Rs. 56,000/- + 20% HRA per month as per ICMR rules.
Essential Qualification and experience : First-class postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degree; second-class postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degree with Ph.D.
Desirable Qualification : First-class postgraduate (PG) degree in Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Science or a related field with the research experience after completing PG or Ph.D. in the mentioned field. The candidate should have research experience in molecular biology techniques and animal handling.
