Director, India Business Operations Partner, a primary point of contact & dependable partner from Commercial Ops in delivering range of Commercial ops & CMO services and beyond more efficiently and also critical member of Ex LT for India. BOP Lead is “guardians of Ops” and are obsessed with knowing and solving the needs of Commercial LT and marketing colleagues to driving speed, efficiency & performance
Director, India Business Operations Partner will be fully primary interface with Country President, strategically partners with senior business leaders/clients such as Category leads, Country brand Leads and Sales Team Lead and Digital and works in collaboration with the Commercial Operations Service delivery team to ensure current / future orientated solutions are provided to team in a proactive manner to better serve HCPs and patients. The BOP acts as the single point of accountability of the Operations Group towards the business/clients and is accountable for building strong client relationships. A strong command of the business and bio-ops service catalogue, CMO deliverables and Digital marketing acumen is essential to advise on and broker Commercial Operations services and draw on pan-BU and pan-Geography solutions to help anticipate and solve business challenges in country. The BOP orchestrates service delivery to meet business needs and service demands while acting as a channel for client feedback, ensuring future orientated Commercial Operations solutions are developed/provided/executed. The BOP will have sound knowledge on strategy in order to orchestrate current services but also to anticipate needs of the business as insights to potential future Commercial Operations services.
Job Description
Acts as an interface between India and the Commercial Ops / CMO as a member of Ex India LT
• Actively promotes and models behavior of One Pfizer
• Maintains and demonstrated an in-depth understanding of priorities across the leaders and works collaboratively to allocate team resources appropriately to client commitments
• Manages performance, ensuring they are equipped with the required capabilities to perform their assigned tasks effectively
• Builds and maintains strong long-lasting relationships with senior business leaders in Argentinian clients down to 1st line managers resp. district managers / brand leads
• Serves as a point of contact for information or problem resolution for major service delivery-related incidents to help resolve them quickly
Partners with business/clients at market level and helps ensure future-oriented solutions are provided :
• Acts on behalf of the Commercial Ops / CMO with the Market leaders and is accountable for those client relationships
• Leverages and influences a broad and diversified stakeholder network at senior levels internally and externally to drive key decisions across multiple stakeholder groups and get things done
• Educates stakeholders on the value BOPs is delivering to the business/clients
• Anticipates future needs of the business based on strategic objectives and effectively communicates among EM / Asia & MERA to inform opportunities for the team to execute value-adding changes to the Commercial Ops Remit
• Understands the full Commercial Ops Remit and addresses client needs as well as helps shape the client’s thinking to ensure Commercial Ops services are creating optimal business impact
• Highlights areas of potential opportunity for new Commercial Ops services that will support ’s evolving business needs
• Supports the development and execution of the business and operational plan for BOPs
Provides business and BOPs knowledge :
• Has a deep understanding of the India business, business unit strategies, and key priorities related to the regional / BU businesses
• Understands Pfizer India business strategies, related business goals, support needs and objectives and how they fit into the One Pfizer model
• Is the regional orchestrator of service delivery to meet business needs and demands
• Understands the regional business strategy and context of the business units and is accountable to lead, own, develop and maintain regional processes to enhance value to clients while maintaining or reducing overall costs
• Has a broad and deep knowledge of the Commercial Ops service portfolio
• Understands the full Commercial Ops Remit and addresses client needs as well as helps shape the client’s thinking to ensure BOPs are creating optimal business impact
• Identifies opportunities in India to improve service delivery processes and the Commercial Ops services
• Actively manages objectives/goals
• Manages and escalates risks where appropriate to deliver the set objectives/goals
• Drives change initiatives/projects and culture change across Commercial Ops to make it stick
Ensures India business demand is managed and fulfilled with excellence :
• Identifies common service needs within the India businesses to assist with developing solutions across the region and business unit
• Understands and anticipates business needs and demand for Commercial Ops services within India to satisfy client needs
• Monitors client satisfaction and devises measures to increase client satisfaction from gained insights
• Identifies how Commercial Ops can continuously evolves its service delivery model consistent against the demands of the business
Candidate Profile
• MBA or equivalent Master’s-level education preferred
• 15 + years with experience, leading Operations, Commercial, Sales Force Effectiveness, Digital, Project management experience is preferred
• Cross-BU and/or diversity of job experiences
• Proven track record of delivering operations
• Drive for optimization/excellence
• Delivery of exceptional customer services and experience
• Track record for building strong performance cultures
• Strong ability to drive collaboration and foster highly productive, functional relationships
• Demonstrated agility and ability to drive execution in expedited timelines
