The Company which had its origin as Hindustan Aircraft Limited was incorporated on 23 Dec 1940 at Bangalore by Shri Walchand Hirachand, a farsighted visionary, in association with the then Government of Mysore, with the aim of manufacturing aircraft in India. In March 1941, the Government of India became one of the shareholders in the Company and subsequently took over its management in 1942. In collaboration with the Inter Continental Aircraft Company of USA, the Company commenced its business of manufacturing of Harlow Trainer, Curtiss Hawk Fighter and Vultee Bomber Aircraft.
Post : Technician (Diploma) Apprentices
Applications are invited from Citizens of India for undergoing Apprenticeship Training at Hindustan Aeronautics limited, Hyderabad for the Year 2024-25 for a period of one year as an Apprentice Trainee as per the details given below.

Qualification Prescribed : Diploma in the respective branch of Engineering.
Eligibility : For Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology from State Board of Technical Education as mentioned at IB and the gap between the date of joining and passing date of the qualification should not be more than 5 years.
Reservations : The reservation for engagement of Apprentices will be admissible as per the Apprentices Act 1961 & Rules and Subsequent amendments.
Stipend : The Stipend will be paid monthly as per the Apprentices Act 1961 & Rules and Subsequent amendments.
Important Instructions
a. Selection is based on only marks secured in Diploma/ Engineering Degree/Graduation in general stream. There is no interview and written test.
b. Before applying through walk-in, the candidates should satisfy themselves regarding eligibility criteria. The candidates should also ensure that the particulars furnished by him/ her in the application are correct in all respect. In case any discrepancy is detected during the engagement process/ apprenticeship training period or if found, he/ she has furnished any incorrect/false
information or has suppressed any material facts, his/ her candidature will be cancelled/ terminated at any stage.
c. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and possessing Original/ Provisional certificate are only eligible.
d. Merit list of the selected candidates shall be hosted on "hal-india.co.in" after two weeks of receiving the application form through walk-in and also an email shall be forwarded to shortlisted candidates.
e. The selected candidates should be in a position to join the establishment on the prescribed date of joining. If the candidate does not report latest by scheduled date, it is assumed that he/she is not interested in the apprenticeship and his/her candidature will be forfeited.
f. Candidates those who have undergone Apprenticeship Training or who are undergoing similar apprenticeship training/ or registered for Apprentice training in the respective discipline under the Apprentice Act elsewhere are not eligible.
g. OBC candidates should produce Valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate.
h. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
i. HAL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and /or the selection process there under. Decision of HAL Management regarding the selection will be final. Further HAL Management reserves the full right to fill up or otherwise any or all the notified posts depending on the availability of the candidates in any trade/discipline and also to fill up the vacancies if any.
j. The candidate has to make his/her own arrangement for accommodation & travelling for the Walk-in process.
