All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.

Qualification Criteria for Deputation : Officers under the Central/State/ U.T. Governments/ Universities/ Statutory Bodies or Autonomous Bodies or Research and Development Organizations i. holding analogous posts on regular basis, or ii. with 6 years regular service in the grade of Pharmacist Grade II in the Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-.
1. The initial period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other department / organizations shall be 3 years.

3. The last date of receipt of complete application on the prescribed proforma along with required documents through proper channel is 30 days after publication of this advertisement in the Newspaper.
4. Application format have been uploaded on the AIIMS, Bathinda website aiimsbathinda.edu.in . Application format can be downloaded from the website. The Officers/Official who fulfil the specified eligibility conditions may submit their application in the prescribed proforma at Annexure-I through proper channel along with attested copies of all relevant certificates to be sent to “The Deputy Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Mandi Dabwali Road, Bathinda-Punjab - 151001” superscribing the envelope “Application for the post of ………………………….…... AIIMS Bathinda” by Speed Post/Registered Post only. Application received through any other medium will not be accepted and if delay is expected in getting endorsement of the employer concerned on the original application, the applicants may submit an advance copy of the application along with all enclosures directly.

6. For those who do not follow Central Government Pay Scales, the comparative chart regarding the pay scale granted to the Official with Central Government pay scale, duly certified by their Head of Office, should be submitted for scrutiny.
7. The qualification/eligibility prescribed is minimum requirement and the some does not automatically make candidate eligible for selection. Based on bio-data, the candidates will be shortlisted and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Application of eligible officers who can be spared in the event of the selection may be forwarded through proper channel to the undersigned at the address given above within 30 days of publication of this advertisement in the Newspaper along with the following documents: -
a. Attested copies of the up-to-date APARs for last five (05) years.
b. Vigilance Clearance Certificate clearly indicating that no disciplinary or criminal proceedings are either pending or contemplated against the officer concerned.
c. Statement showing the minor/major penalties imposed, if any, and
d. Integrity Certificate.
e. No Objection Certificate (NOC)
The candidates must produce all relevant original documents as proof of details furnished in their application at the time of interview. Application received, not through proper channel will not be considered for interview.
8. The posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government employees of similar status and other allowances sanctioned in AIIMS, Bathinda.
