Job Description
Serve as Staff Pharmacist for the Purdue University Pharmacy. Assist in the operations of the Purdue University Pharmacy located on the West Lafayette campus by providing quality pharmacy services, including preparing and dispensing prescriptions, as well as, providing appropriate patient counseling in accordance with the current standards of pharmacy practice.
Candidate Profile
- PharmD.
- Three years experience in a community pharmacy.
- Current Indiana license or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a pharmacist.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to the dispensing of drugs and controlled substances.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make independent judgments and decisions.
- Exemplary communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Ability to be involved in multiple tasks/projects.
- Requires the ability to work closely with others.
- Close attention to detail.
- Requires ability to work with the public, in particular, the Purdue University students, faculty, staff, and retirees

• The hours for this position will vary based on the time of year: Monday - Friday, between 7:30am and 5:45pm.
