Vacancies for M.Pharm, MSc or B.Pharm to work in funded by CSIR-ASPIRE project at Institute of Life Sciences

Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar, an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, and Government of India is an emerging multidisciplinary institute engaged in advanced research invites applications from Indian Nationals to join in the following posts in DBT sponsored projects.

Post : Senior Research Fellow (01 position)

Project title : “Cationic polymer based nano complexes and their cellular fate” funded by CSIR-ASPIRE.

Principal Investigator : Dr. Mamoni Dash, Scientist D, ILS Bhubaneswar

Emolument : Rs. 42,000/- per month

Eligibility : Candidates having M.Sc., BE, B. Tech or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects such as Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology, etc. with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/ST/SC) with 2 years of research experience, as evidenced from published papers in standard referred journals;
OR
MTech/ME or equivalent degree in engineering/technology with at least 60% marks;
OR BE/BTech or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks and two years research experience as on the last date of application;
OR MBBS/BDS or equivalent with at least 60% marks and one year internship;
OR BPharm/BVSc/BSc(Ag) or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed at least three years research experience;
OR MPharm/MVSc/MSc(Ag) or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one publication in SCI Journal and should have at least one year research experience are eligible to apply.

Desirable : Candidates with National level examination qualifications such as NET-JRF/NET-LS/GATE or equivalent.

Job description : To carry out nanoparticle formulations and basic cell culture work related to the project.

Age Limit : The candidate should be below 32 years in age, as on 28.03.2025. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.

The appointment will be for TWO years. All the positions are purely temporary and coterminous with the project.
