Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidate’s for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in a time bound research project for a temporary period, purely on contractual basis as per the following details.

Project Title : Development of space coiling metamaterials for enhanced noise control and enhanced thermo-fluidic performance of HVAC appliances

Project Tenure : 2 years (24 months)
Essential Qualification
MSc / BE / B.Tech or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one publication in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal and should have completed at least two years of post - MSc / BE /B.Tech research experience as on the last date of application, as evidenced from fellowship / associateship or from date of registration for Ph.D.
OR
• M.Tech/ME or equivalent degree in engineering / technology with at least 60% marks.
OR
• BE / B.Tech or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks and two years of research experience as on the last date of application.
OR
• MBBS / BDS or equivalent with at least 60% marks and one-year internship.
OR
• BPharm/BVSc/BSc (Ag) or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed at least three years of research experience as on the last date of application, evidenced from fellowship/associateship or from date of registration for Ph.D.
OR
• MPharm / MVSc / MSc (Ag) / MPhil or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one publication in SCI Journal and should have at least one-year research experience as on the last dale of application, evidenced from fellowship/associateship or from date of registration tor PhD.
In addition, to at least one of the above qualifications, GAT E or NET score is desired.
Age Limit : 32 Years as on the last date of application
Age relaxation : The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/Scheduled Tribes/physically handicapped and female applicants whereas 3 years in case of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer candidates).
Fellowship : Rs. 42,000/-p.m.
• The candidate may opt for continuing the research work post the project contractual period by converting into a full time PhD student in IIT Roorkee, provided the candidate meets eligibility criteria for PhD program at IIT Roorkee.
