Opportunity for Chief Pharmacist to Join AIIMS

The AIIMS, New Delhi model will be adopted and adapted. Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack the basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the superspecialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology etc. In addition, departments of Accident & Emergency, Biostatistics, Medical Engineering, Hospital administration, Genetics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Telemedicine, Clinical Epidemiology and Medical Education Cell etc are also planned. This institution should also provide a good opportunity to promote basic scientists and biotechnologists and studies in genomics, proteomics and metabonomics providing opportunity to work in close proximity of rich clinical material. A lot of effort would go into locating, enticing, appointing and retaining talented faculty as it is the faculty that makes an institution great. Heads of Department would be strengthened by having a say in faculty appointments and promotions and writing annual confidential reports. Annual self assessment by faculty would be updated as e-portfolio. Each department shall have a 5-year development plan.

Applications are invited in the prescribed Proforma from eligible candidates for filling up of following Non-Faculty Group 'B' Posts on DEPUTATION BASIS at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS) Bhopal. The essential qualification, experience etc. required for applying for these posts are as under.

Chief Pharmacist - Group-B- 01 Post – (RRs of AIIMS, Bhopal)
Pay Band – 2 - Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4600/- (Level-7 as per 7th CPC).
Essential : Officers under the Central/State/U.T. Governments/Universities/Statutory Bodies or Autonomous Bodies or Research and Development Organizations –
i. Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or
ii. with 5 years regular service in the grade Pharmacist Gr. II in the Grade pay of Rs. 4200/-

Assistant Administrative Officer (Group-B Post)-01 Post (RRs of AIIMS, Bhopal)
Pay Band – 2 : Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4600/- (Level-7 as per 7th CPC)
Essential : Officers under the Central/State/U.T. Governments/Universities/Statutory/ Autonomous Bodies or Research and Development Organizations- I. holding analogous posts on regular basis, or II. with 5 years regular service in the grade pay of Rs. 4200/- in the relevant field and possessing following educational qualification Essential: Degree from recognized University or its equivalent
Desirable :
1. MBA/ PG diploma in management from recognised Institutes.
2. Knowledge of Government Rules and Regulations.
3. Proficiency in Computers.

Office Superintendent – Group-B – 01 Post (RR of AIIMS, Bhopal)
Pay Scale : PB 2 Grade Pay of Rs 4,200/- ( Level-6 of 7th CPC)
Essential Qualifications :
Officers under the Central/State/U.T. Governments/Universities/ Statutory, Autonomous Bodies or Research and Development Organizations –
i. Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or
ii. with 10 years regular service in the Grade pay of Rs. 2400 in the relevant

I. The Executive Director, AIIMS, Bhopal reserves the right to vary the vacancies or cancel the exercise, at any stage of the process without assigning any reason thereof.
II. Maximum age limit for applying for the aforesaid posts on deputation is 56 years as on the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News
III. The initial period of deputation shall ordinarily be three years from date of appointment and the same will be regulated as per DoPT guidelines. Pay will be regulated as per Govt. of India rules.
IV. All the posts carry usual allowance as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status and other allowances sanctioned at AIIMS, Bhopal (M.P.).
V. AIIMS Bhopal reserves the right to conduct Written Test/ Skill Test to shortlist/select the candidates for any post as mentioned in the notification.

VI. While forwarding their applications, Employer/Cadre Controlling Authority may ensure that the particulars of the candidates are verified and that they fulfil the eligibility conditions. Duly attested photocopies by competent authority of the applicant’s up-to- date Confidential Reports/APARs (at least for the latest 05 years) may also be enclosed with the application. It may also be clearly stated that no vigilance/ disciplinary proceedings is pending or contemplated against the candidates concerned. Application without vigilance clearance and ACR/APAR Dossiers will not be considered.
