M.Pharm, M.Sc Recruitment in National Supercomputing Mission project

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, BITS Pilani is an all-India Institute for higher education. The Institute is a dream come true of its founder late Mr G.D.Birla - an eminent industrialist, a participant in Indian freedom struggle and a close associate of the Father of Indian Nation late Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi).

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by National Supercomputing Mission, DST, under the supervision of Dr. Vaibhav A. Dixit, Department of Pharmacy, BITS-Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan.

Title of the project: Exploiting the electron transfer (ET) parameters for the prediction of selectivities in Cytochrome P450 (CYP450) catalyzed biotransformations of industrial importance.
Duration of the project : 2 years Project position and number: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (01).
Fellowship amount: Rs. 31,000/- per month

Eligibility requirements: M. Pharm., M. S. or M. Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry, or Computational Chemistry or equivalent. The candidates with GPAT / GATE / NET qualification will be preferred.
