The Tata Medical Center is a multispecialty institution for tertiary cancer care based in New Town, Kolkata. At TMC, clinical and research activities are integrated to provide state-of-the-art care for patients with cancer. This integration is enabled by the Tata Translational Cancer Research Centre (TTCRC), the research arm of TMC. TTCRC is within a dedicated academic space and spread over 3 floors. At TTCRC, a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, scientists, academics and industry professionals collaborate to develop a systems medicine approach in cancer research. This approach is focussed on developing innovative, indigenous, cost-effective and equitable strategies to improve cancer diagnosis; develop treatments that match disease characteristics and are adapted to treatment response; and, identify prognostic and predictive disease biomarkers.

Post : Study Co-ordinator – Blinatumomab Project

TMC has entered into institutional collaborations in research, and outreach programmes in the field of interdisciplinary medical, research and technology. The Blinatumomab Project has been envisioned as a multicentric project which facilitates treatment for relapsed or refractory B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) in adults and children.

Job description :
Blinatumonab Study Coordinator will be responsible for:
• Facilitate drug accrual.
• Maintain and coordinate during therapy.
• Drug dosage calculation and adverse effects monitoring, data capture.
• Co-ordination with patients/ families, clinical ward, and Clinical Research Unit regarding the study.


Candidate Profile
Essential Qualification : B.Pharm or Equivalent from recognized Institution.
Knowledge and Skills
• Advanced digital literacy and computer skills.
• Strong communication and data presentation skills
• Strong personal interest in learning, researching, and creating new technologies
• Honesty, integrity, respect for confidentiality and desire to excel.
• Strong personal time management and organizational skills.
• Through understanding of the basics of project management
• Ability to communicate effectively with the team and liaise with different stakeholders in the department.
• Interpersonal skills to ensure effective team building in the clinical research unit.
• Ability to perform with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision
• Eager to apply problem-solving skills and exercise independent judgment
