The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Applications are invited on plain paper for the post of Project Technical Support-Ill and Project Nurse-II in the ICMR funded project entitled impact of multipronged interventions targeting in reducing surgical site infections and identifying the challenges ” under Dr. Ashish Kakkar, Dept, of Pharmacology, PGIMER Chandigarh.
Project Technical Support - III : 01 position
Essential Qualifications : I. Three Years Graduate in Pharmacology / Pharmacy / Life sciences + three years experience or Postgraduate in Pharmacology / Pharmacy / Life sciences.
Upper Age limit : 35 years;
Remuneration : As per ICMR rules
Project Nurse-II : 01 Position
Essential Qualifications : Minimum Second Class or equivalent CGPA three-year General Nursing & Midwife (GNM) Course.
Upper Age limit : 30 years;
Remuneration : as per ICMR rules.
Desirable (for both posts) : Knowledge and experience of working in related research projects/ antimicrobial stewardship is desirable. Experience of working in the field and management of multicentric projects will be an added advantage.
- The engagement in the projects is purely on temporary basis maximum for the period of duration of the project. However, appointment will initially be offered for a period of 10 months to be and will be extended on yearly basis depending upon satisfactory performance and co-terminus with the project. Please note that it is not a PGIMER / ICMR Delhi appointment and will not cot fer any right on the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit on any position.
