Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University invites applications from eligible candidates for faculty Positions at the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences MCOPS, a constituent unit of MAHE, Manipal. MCOPS started offering Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm) education in 1963 and became a degree college for Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) program in 1965. Eventually, MCOPS became the first college to offer a postgraduate course (MPharm) in Karnataka in 1970 and the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program in 2008 in India.
Post : Research Associate (01 post)
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the position of Research Associate (purely on a temporary basis) under Dr Srinivas Mutalik for the Industry Sponsored research project related to the topic “Development and Evaluation of Drug- containing Films” at Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal.
Eligibility and Qualification of the candidate : • MPharm in Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy or related discipline (with experience in drug delivery systems, dosage form development, HPLC analysis, cell line studies, animal studies, etc).
Desirable : • PhD in the related domain
• Knowledge and expertise in drug delivery systems, dosage form development, computational skills, HPLC analysis, cell line studies, animal studies, etc.
• Previous research experience in the relevant domain
• Publications, conference presentations and patents
• Good communication and writing skills
Tenure : The position is initially for ONE year, which may be extended for few more months based on the availability of the funds.
Fellowship : INR 40,000 per month
