ICMR-NARI is located at Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. Since its inception the Institute has ably supported the National AIDS Control Programme, especially in the areas of surveillance, capacity building, laboratory services and drug resistance studies. ICMR-NARI derives strength from wide ranging National and International Collaborations. The Institutes research activities are guided by a Scientific Advisory Committee which includes eminent scientists from varied disciplines. All research projects are reviewed and approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee, which ensures that a research activities are conducted maintaining highest ethical standards.
Post : Project Junior Research Fellow - 01 Post
Online applications are invited through the online system on the ICMR-NARI website up to 12-07-2023 for the following post under the DST SERB Core Research Grant project entitled, “miRNA Loaded Nanoparticles: Investigation and Validation of Targeted miRNA Delivery as A Prospective Antiviral Approach Against HSV-2 Infection”. The post is purely temporary basis. In case of OBC, Non-creamy layer certificate from the competent authority is empowered to issue such certificate. Essential Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following: a) Scholars who are selected through NET conducted by CSIR-UGC (Lectureship) b) GATE qualified in Life Science or Biotechnology c) The selection process through National level exams conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable Qualification : Candidates who are Indian citizens having Post graduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences or M.Tech / B.E./ MBBS / MD degree from India with at least 60% or equivalent CGPA or Grade Point Average (GPA) for general and OBC category, or 55% for SC / ST / Differently-abled candidates can apply only. SPPU-PET-qualified candidates are also eligible for the position. Additional research experience, after post- graduate degree, will be preferred
Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- plus 27% HR
Age and experience is relaxable in deserving cases.
