NIAB is an autonomous and premier institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. The Institute aims to develop and harness novel and emerging biotechnological tools and applications, and take up research in cutting-edge areas for improving animal health and productivity as well as contribute to human health and welfare.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Details : One position of JRF against the ICMR funded project entitled “Development of catalytically active nanoprobes for enhanced imaging and cancer phenotyping”.
PI : Dr Sanjay Singh, Scientist – F.
Duration : 1 Year (extendable for one more year)
Eligibility : Master`s degree in Life Science or Chemical Sciences, MVSc or Bachelor`s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university or equivalent.
Desired Experience : Candidate with experience in Nanomaterial Synthesis, Cell culture, Molecular biology, DNA/RNA extraction and handling will be given preference.
Age : 28 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government guidelines).
Fellowship amount : Candidates will be paid Rs. 31,000/-PM + applicable HRA as per the ICMR guidelines.
