The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the new state-of-the-art R&D satellite of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), which also includes under its umbrella the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), the largest cancer hospital in Asia. ACTREC has the mandate to function as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. TMC is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.

Post : Research Fellow

To work on project entitled "In vivo evaluation of long bone grafts in a rabbit femoral model"

Essential Qualifications & Experience: * *M.Sc. (Life Sciences) / M. Pharm. with above 60% marks with one year experience in molecular biology techniques, cell culture and animal handling, performing injections (i.p. and s.c) and blood collection. Small animal surgery experience would be helpful, but not essential. Additional responsibilities would include performing in vivo experiments involving laboratory rabbit, tissue dissection and processing and maintaining data.
*M.Sc. degree having duration of one year course will not be considered.

Selected candidate will have to join at the earliest; hence results-awaited candidates will not be eligible to apply for the post.

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 18,000/-per month.

Duration: Six Months

The work progress of candidates will be monitored and extension after 6 months will depend on satisfactory progress of the work.

Eligible Candidates may attend the walk in interview on Friday, 2nd August, 2019, at Conference Room, 3rdFioor, Khanolkar Shodhika, ACTREC along with recent CV & original and attested copies of all certificates and testimonials with recent passport size photograph.

Reporting Time: 12.00 noon to 12.30 p.m.
