Job for Pharmacy Officer in Primary Health Centers

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Pharmacy Officer in Primary Health Centers of Zone-IV under the control of the Regional Director of Medical and Health Services, Zone-IV, Kadapa on contract basis.The Candidates who are already working on contract basis under the control of DM&HO’s in the Zone- IV, Kadapa are not eligible to apply.

Reservations :
I. Reservations are applicable as per Rule 22 of AP State and Subordinate Services Rules and instructions issued from time to time including BC, SC and ST reservations. 
II. Reservations to woman will be as per General Rule 22- G.O.Ms.No.77,GA(Ser.D)Dept.,dated:-02-08-2023, 
III. G.O.Ms.No.63, GA(Ser-D) Dept, dt: 17.04.2018 & instructions issued from time to time. 
IV. Presidential order is applicable as per GO Ms No 674; GA (SPF.A) Dept, dated:28.10.1975, GO P No.763 GA.(SPF.A) Dept dated 15.11.1975 read with G.O.Ms.No.8 GA (SPF.A) Dept. dated.08.01.2002. V. Reservations to Differently abled persons is applicable as per G.O.Ms.No.2 Department for WCDA & SC (Prog.II) dt 19.02.2020, G.o.Ms.No.3, Gen.Admn(Ser-D)Dept, dated 17- 01-2024. 
VI. Reservations for economically weaker sections will be as per G.O.Ms.No.73 GA (Services-D) dept. dt:04.08.2021. 
VII. Reservations for ex-servicemen are applicable as per rules in force.
Educational (Academic, Professional, Technical) qualifications, nature of appointment and remuneration to various posts : 
a. Must Possess SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by Govt of AP. 
b. Must possess D.Pharma /B.Pharma from recognized university and registered in the AP Pharmacy Council. If the applicant possesses an equivalent qualification to prescribed qualification in this notification, applicant shall enclose a copy of the Government orders to that effect to the application, failing which their application will be rejected.


Age : Upper age limit is 42 years. Age will be reckoned as on 01.07.2024 as per G.O.Ms.No.105 GA (Ser-A) dept., dated.27.09.2021 with relaxations as applicable. Relaxations will be as follows: 
1. For SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates : 05 (Five) Years. 
2. For Ex-service Men: 03 (Three) years in addition to the length of service in armed forces. 
3. For differently abled persons: 10 (Ten) Years. 
4. Maximum age limit is 52 years with all relaxations put together. 5.Fee: Applicant must pay the fee by way of QR Code(Scanner) and UPI mode or Demand Drafts drawn in the favor of “Regional Director of Medical & Health Services, Kadapa. 
For OC candidates =Rs. 500/- 
For SC/ST/BC/Physically challenged candidates = 300/-

Method of Appointment : Appointment is purely on Contract basis for a period of one year and will be renewed based on the performance. The Candidate will have no right to claim for appointment on permanent roll in State Health Department.


Selection criteria
a. Total marks : 100 
b. 75 marks will be allocated for aggregate of marks obtained in all the years in qualifying examination or any other equivalent qualification. 
c.Up to 10 marks @ 1.0 mark per completed year after acquiring requisite qualification as mentioned in the pass certificate. Weightage will be reckoned up date of notification as per Govt.Memo no.4274/D1/2013, HM&FW (D1) Dept., dt.10.07.2014. 
d. Weightage upto 15 marks for contract employment based on working area: @ 2.5 marks per six months in Tribal Area. @ 2.0 marks per six months in Rural Area. @ 1.0 marks per six months in Urban Area. If any individual worked for less than 6 months for Covid, the No weightage Shall be 0.8 marks per completed month. 
e. The candidates claiming service weightage shall submit original contract/ service certificate in the enclosed proforma issued by competent authority along with copy of appointment orders. Applications without the service certificates as prescribed above will not be considered for service weightage.
(Note : Certificates taken earlier are valid. If additional period of service is there, fresh certificate to that effect shall be obtained and enclosed) 
f. Rule of reservations as per AP State and Subordinate Service Rues and presidential orders governing the local status are applicable for selection.

Tenure of appointment and important conditions : The tenure for the contract posts is initially one year from the date of joining in the post and may be extended for further period as per the instructions issued by the Government from time to time. The Selection Committee reserves all the rights to terminate the contract services of any candidate / candidates at any time with one month notice or as per directions of the Government from time to time.

Recruitment process : 
a. Regional Director of Medical and Health Services, who is appointing authority, will conduct the recruitment process as per the guidelines and issue appointment orders to the selected candidates. 
b. Candidates shall submit the applications on or before 17 -01-2025. After that applications will not be entertained and these applications will be summarily rejected.

The following shall be submitted by the candidates along with the submission of application. 
1. Passport size photograph 
2. SSC or equivalent examination 
3. Intermediate examination or 10 + 2 Examination 
4. Dip.Pharma / B.Pharma 
5. Marks Memos of Dip.Pharma / B.Pharma all years 
6. Certificate of Permanent Registration in Andhra Pradesh Pharmacy Council should be enclosed. In case of fresh pass outs, undertaking shall be given that registration certificate will be submitted before issue of appointment orders, if selected. 
7. Latest Copy of Valid Caste / Community Certificate in case of SC/ ST/ BC/ EWS (with categorization) issued by the Revenue authority viz., Tahsildar / MRO / RDO concerned. In the absence of proper caste certificate, the candidate will be treated as OC candidate. 
8. Study Certificates for the years 4th to 10th class from where the candidate studied. (Government / Private / Aided / Municipal / ZP).In case of non- submission of study certificates, candidate will be treated as Non Local.In case of private study of 4th to 10th class, 7 years Local status certificate from the Tahsildar / MRO Concerned should be enclosed. 
9. Latest EWS 2024-25(Economically weaker sections) certificate issued by the competent authority in case of the EWS 
10. Latest Copy ofcertificate for Physically handicapped (If applicable) issued by SADAREM. 
11. Service certificate from the controlling officer concerned (DM&HO/DCHS/ Principals of GMCs / Superintendent of GGH / Any competent authority who appointed the applicant) for claiming weightage for Contract/outsourcing in the absence of which the candidate will not be given service weightage (proforma is herewith enclosed). 
12. Any other certificates as relevant and applicable.

a. Last Date for submission of physical applications is 05:00 PM on 17.01.2025. Filled in applications shall be submitted in the specified counters in O/o R.D.M.&.H.S., Kadapa. 
b. Candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible without waiting till last date to avoid last hour rush. They are further advised to obtain dated acknowledgement from the receiving authority, in proof of their submission of application immediately with check slip of enclosures.
