Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) [1 position] to work on the Major Research Project entitled “Integrative analysis of bile acid metabolomics, Uterine smooth muscle transcriptomics and gut microbiome interactions in Uterine Fibroid Pathogenesis” was sanctioned by Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission, Govt, of Gujarat at Graduate School of Pharmacy, Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. The positions will be purely on a contractual basis initially for 1 year and extendable to two more year, subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate. Eligibility
1. Post Graduate Degree in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Life Sciences / Pharmacy with NET / GATE / ICMR / GPAT or any other National Eligibility Tests.
Or
2. Post Graduate Degree in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Life Sciences / Pharmacy
Desired Skills : Research experience in the field of molecular biology techniques, metabolomics, metagenomics, transcriptomics, bioinformatics and biostatistical knowledge with scientific writing and good communication skills.
Age Limit : Preferably below 35 years
Fellowship Duration : Initially for 1 year and extendable to two more year, subject to satisfactory performance.
Fellowship : A. For candidates having qualifications (as per DST, Gol, Office memorandum SR/S9/Z-08 /2018 Dt. 30/01/2019) mentioned at no. 1, the fellowship as per GSBTM will be Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (The candidate will be paid 20% HRA of previous fellowship Rs. 25,000/- (as per DST, Gol, Office memorandum SR/S9/Z-09 /2012 Dt. 21/10/2014)).
B. For candidates having qualifications (eligibility) mentioned at no. 2, the fellowship as per GSBTM will be Rs. 23,213/- Fixed (HRA will not be entitled).
