Applications are invited for engagement (on contractual basis) of the pharmacist (and subsequent vacancies for next 1 year) for Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC) at Kalna, Katwa, & Burdwan ULB (Municipality) of Purba Bardhaman district under NUHM as follows.

Minimum Qualification : The candidate should have Two years Diploma in Pharmacy (D- Pharma) (ALLOPATHIC) recognized by the Government of West Bengal and registered as “A” category Pharmacist under West Bengal Pharmacy Council. Weightage will be given for higher qualification. The candidates must have proficiency in Bengali and must have efficiency in computers including MS-Office and internet. The applicants must be permanent resident of West Bengal.

An application fee of Rs. 100/-(Rs.50/- for reserved categories) will be deposited to the Bank through NEFT in favor of DISTRICT HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE S AMITY (NON-NHM) Bank A/C No- 0187132000008, IFSC- CNRB0000187. Bank deposit copy (with UTR no.) will have to be submitted with printed copy of the on-line application form, during checking and verification.
General Information for the Applicants / Candidates
i) The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
ii) The applicant must have knowledge of local languages (should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali).
iii) Age relaxation will be given for the reserved candidates as per existing norms of the State Government.
iv) Only online Applications will be accepted. Application forms not properly filled in or incomplete Application forms are liable to be cancelled. If the online application details submitted by the applicant differ with the original testimonials, that application shall be liable to be cancelled.
v) If proper signature and photograph are not uploaded at the time of online application that application shall also be liable to be cancelled.
vi) Hard copy/print copy of the online registration form may be downloaded from the link "hr.wbhealth.gov.in/lndex.aspx"-> "Application Print" and should be retained by all the applicants for document verification purpose. Without registration form, candidates will not be entertained for original testimonials verification by the authority. No need to send Hard copy/print copy of the online registration form by post.
vii) The Essential Criteria mentioned are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidate to claim selection. All the essential academic qualification must be completed on or before the last date of online application.
viii) Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in academic qualification / experience / Computer Test, as mentioned in scale of scoring.
ix) All marks must be calculated excluding marks of Additional Subject. No rounding off of marks will be granted. Proportionate marking up to 2 decimal points will be considered.
x) Experience will be calculated after obtaining the required essential academic qualification for the above-mentioned position, till the last date of online application with supporting documents of Experience Certificate.
xi) In case of experience from Private Org., the selection committee may ask for salary statement/ appointment letter or any other documents from the agency for the said period for verification.
xii) The candidates, if found ineligible at any stage of recruitment process, will not be called for the subsequent stages of the selection process.
xiii) The eligible candidates will have to go through all stages of recruitment, if a candidate skips any stages, S/he will be disqualify immediately.
xiv) The above-mentioned posts are purely contractual in nature with initial period up to March'2025 and it may be renewed for further period depending on satisfactory performance and approval of higher authority.
xv) As mentioned in addendum issued vide no. HFW-27011/137/2020/1611 dated 23/02/2021 point no. ii, All new employees who have joined / will be joining between 29th December, 2020 to 30th September 2024 against new entry point remuneration as per memorandum vide no. HFW- 27011/137/2020/1352 dated 29/12/2020 will not be entitled for annual increment for the financial years 2023-24 and 2024-25.
xvi) The decision of the competent authorities regarding the recruitment is final.
xvii) The competent authorities may cancel the recruitment process at any stage of the selection process.
On the basis of on-line application data, a provisional list will be prepared for original testimonial verification. Print copy of online application form, NEFT documents/screen shot of payment (for online payment) and other supporting documents in favor of age proof, caste, educational qualification etc. will be verified. A notice for original testimonial verification along with the provisional list will be published with in 7th March’2024 in the website of purbabardhaman.nic.in and wbhealth.gov.in.
