Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) on contract basis for the project entitled “Biomarker(s) validation for Parkinson’s disease with Cognitive impairment in blood serum/plasma of patients and Neurobiological evaluation of their pathogenic potential” funded by DBT under Dr. Phalguni Anand Alladi, Senior Scientific Officer – Scientist ‘F’, DBT-TATA Innovation Fellow, Department of Clinical Psychopharmacology and Neurotoxicology.
Essential Qualifications :
• M.Sc in Neurosciences / Pharmacology / Life Sciences or any other equivalent PG degree from a recognized university, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Scholars who have cleared National Eligibility Tests DBT/CSIR/ UGC-NET and GATE.
• Candidates selected through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government depts and their agencies and institutions e.g. DST, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc etc.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience in ELISA/Immunohistochemistry and Western blotting techniques (preferable).
Maximum age limit : 30 (thirty) years. The upper age limit may be relaxable upto 5 years in case of women and PWD candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories.
Emoluments : Rs. 31,000/- per month + 24 % HRA (HRA is admissible only if not availing hostel accommodation).
Duration of the post : Initial appointment will be made for a period of 06 months, which will be extended every 06 months until the end of the project, depending on the performance of the candidate. Total duration: 2.5 years or till the funds are sanctioned by the agency
Nature of work : The candidate will be involved in designing and conducting experiments and data analysis related to the project and any other technical and administrative work assigned by the project investigators.
