P.J.N. Smriti Medical College, Raipur recruited on contract basis through walk-in-interview on sanctioned posts under the project "National Program on Antimicrobial Resistance Containment: AMR and HAI Surveillance" run under the Government of India, National Center for Disease Control. The number of vacant posts and educational qualification are as follows.
Post : Pharmacist
No of post : 01
Salary : *Rs. 25000/- pm
Age Limit : 40 years
Essential Qualification : 12th pass in science subjects and Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution / Board.
Desirable : Experience in dispensing and/or storage and dispensing of drugs in a reputed hospital or institution or in a drug store or a pharmaceutical concern. Knowledge of computer skills.
*Apart from the mentioned consolidated salary, no other/additional allowance will be given.
No separate TA/DA will be provided to the candidates participating in the interview or selected for joining the job.
Terms and conditions
1. It is mandatory for the applicant to be a native/local resident of Chhattisgarh.
2. Must possess the desired qualifications as indicated on the date of walk-in-interview.
3. It will be mandatory to present all the necessary documents/original copies of certificates issued by the competent authority at the time of interview. If any document/certificate is found to be flawed or incorrect, the selection/candidate will automatically be considered canceled and legal action will be taken.
4. Only the experience certificate issued by the appointing authority will be valid.
5. The appointment is completely on contract basis under the project and if the requirement of the project or the contract is not increased then the appointment will automatically end.
6. The appointment can be terminated by either party by giving one month's notice or one month's salary.
7. The appointed candidate will not have any claim for appointment on regular basis to any post in this institution.
8. The appointed person will have to perform the assigned duties and will not engage himself in any kind of private practice.
9. After appointment, it will be necessary to take charge by the prescribed date.
10. The selection/waiting list will be valid for one year from the date of issue.

Selection Process
1. Only 10 eligible candidates in order of proficiency will be interviewed.
2. Determination of marks for proficiency order will be as follows:-
(i) For the post of Pharmacist
(a) 30% of the total marks obtained in 12th
(b) 50% of the total marks (sum of marks of all years) in Diploma in Pharmacy.
3. In case of getting equal marks, priority will be decided on the basis of date of birth i.e. the candidate whose date of birth is earlier will be given priority.
4. Final selection will be made on the basis of evaluation in the interview.
5. The Dean, P. J. Smriti Medical College, Raipur will have full authority to take the final decision regarding the eligibility/ineligibility of the candidate for selection.
