National AIDS Research Institute [NARI] was established in October 1992 in Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. The Institute has progressively expanded its activities in various aspects of research on HIV and AIDS through infra-structural development, capacity building & research programmes. The present infrastructure includes the Institute housed in a 28024 sq. mtr space, residential accomadation for the staff, a power plant to ensure uninterrupted power supply and an incinerator for safe disposal of bio-waste.
Applications are invited for the following posts under Research study, "Assessment of EID programme in India" funded by NACO. The posts are purely temporary for the below mentioned period anc shall be filled cn the basis of skill test and interview.
Research Assistant
No. of Posts : 9 Posts for 3 -4 Months at different Sites( 1 post each in following states: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Odisha)
Consolidated Salary : Rs 28,755
Essential Qualification : Graduate in science/relevant subjects from a recognized university with 3 years work experience OR Master's degree in relevant subject from a recognized University
Desirable Qualification : Masters in relevant subjects (Life sciences, social sciences. social work.) Masters in Public Health and Masters of Health Administration. Local candidates will be given preference.
