The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is a tertiary care, super-specialty hospital located in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, India. It was established in 2009 by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi as an autonomous institute under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The ILBS is a mono-superspeciality hospital, which means that it provides primarily liver and biliary care. This focus on a single organ system allows the institute to achieve a high degree of expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of liver and biliary diseases.

Age Limit : 30 Years
Eligibility : Essential: (A) Graduate in Life Sciences from a recognized university; AND Three years’ work experience from a recognized institution. OR (B) Master’s Degree in Life Sciences.
Note : Candidate should have experience in Bioinformatics, Data Analysis, Data Auditing and lab techniques comprising of but not limited to ELISA, Cell Culture, NGS, IHC, PCR, RT-PCR etc.
Monthly Salary / Remuneration : INR 31,000/- per month (fixed)

Key Responsibilities
1. Laboratory Techniques :
• Conduct molecular biology experiments including PCR, RT-PCR, and ELISA.
• Perform immunohistochemistry (IHC) and cell culture techniques.
• Execute assays for high-throughput sequencing projects.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
2. Research Support :
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and execute experiments.
• Contribute to the preparation of research papers, reports, and presentations.
• Train and mentor junior team members in lab and computational techniques.
3. Skills and Competencies :
• Knowledge of bioinformatics software and programming languages (e.g., R,Python).
• Strong understanding of molecular biology principles and laboratory practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle and process large datasets.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining data accuracy and reproducibility.
