Applications are invited from candidates possessing the following qualifications to fill the vacant posts of Pharmacist in Rajawadi Hospital Establishment on contract basis.

The Pharmacist will receive Rs. 18,000/- per month will be given a fixed emolument (remuneration) and no allowances will be given to them. (The duration of this contractual arrangement will be only 6 months and after every 45 days 1 day technical break will be given.)
Qualification :
• Candidate must possess D. Pharmacy in Pharmacy from State Govt Board of Technical Education or Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University.
• Candidate should be registered with Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.
• Candidate must have passed Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education School Examination and equivalent examination with minimum 50 marks or 100 marks (higher level/lower level) in Marathi subject.
• Candidate must have computer knowledge.
Age Limit - Candidate's age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 45 years at the time of application.
Duties
• Periodically checking the stock of medicines and other similar items in your possession.
• To check supply and demand of injections and medicines. Also storing it in the right place in the right way.
• Taking risk cost action against contractors who do not supply proper drugs.
• Keeping a written account of expensive medicines and injections.
• Attesting to the authenticity of receipts of medicines received.
• Keeping track of immovable objects.
• Maintaining proper record of dispensary note books and checking back at regular intervals.
• Keeping a record of expired medicines in a book and checking them every week.
• MCGM To verify that this stamp is stamped on each medicine.
• Keeping all types of medicines properly stored on storage shelves and making them readily available for dispensing, inspection etc.
• Distribution of medicines to patients as well as in-patient departments.
• To execute orders given by superiors.
Terms and Conditions
• Pharmacists who are appointed on contract basis cannot claim for regular service of Municipal Corporation.
• During the contract period, the contract drug manufacturer has to submit the contract on a stamp paper of Rs.100.
• Pharmacists will be paid Rs.18,000/- per month. They will not be given any other allowances.
• Also the said posts are for a specific period only and the said post will be terminated after the expiry of the said period.
• Appointed Pharmacists will be responsible for completing the prescribed work within the prescribed period of appointment.
• Rules of Mumbai Municipal Corporation Service Rules shall not be applicable to the concerned drug manufacturer during the contract period. This appointment will be purely on contractual basis.
• If the performance of the contract pharmacist is unsatisfactory during the contract period, the appointment of the contract pharmacist will be terminated without any prior notice.
• If at any time after the commencement of the selection process or after the appointment, the candidate is found to have submitted any wrong information/certificates/documents or has concealed any information, his/her candidature will be cancelled. Also, if appointed, their contractual appointment will be terminated without any prior notice.
• Mumbai Municipal Corporation (Service) Rules, 1989 and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Service (Conduct) Rules, 1999 shall not apply to the selected candidate after appointment.
• The duration of the said contractual system will be only 6 months. (After every 45 days service break of 1 day will be given.)
• Since the service of the candidates working during the contract period is temporary, their said service will not be considered for seniority or the said service will not be given priority for seniority. Also, the administration reserves the right to terminate their services without prior notice.
• Candidates will be shortlisted based on percentage of marks in final year of educational qualification.
• Qualified candidates possessing equal marks will be given preference in seniority as per date of birth. and (Preference will be given to Postgraduate Degree.)
• Preference will be given if the candidate has experience after obtaining the required degree in the relevant subject.
Applicants are required to submit their applications at Rajawadi Hospital, Ghatkopar (East) during office hours from 11.12.2023 to 15.12.2023. Applications received after the said date will not be entertained. Take note of this. (Documents accompanying the application should be attested.)
The said appointment will be on purely contractual basis for a period of six months or until candidates are obtained on permanent basis for the said posts, whichever is earlier. They will not be admissible to any other benefits of service like municipal employees. Terms and conditions are attached.
