CSIR - Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad is a Premier Research Laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research , which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. CSIR-IICT is a multi-disciplinary Institute with proven strengths in Organic Chemistry (drugs, agro chemicals and industrial organics), Inorganic and Physical Chemistry including Catalysis, Lipid Science & Technology, Organic Coatings & Polymers, Chemical Biology, Chemical Engineering and Design Engineering.
CSIR – IICT is conducting Walk-in-Interview on 04.01.2023 for the following positions under various sponsored projects purely on temporary basis
Business Development Manager (P)
Name of the Project : Establishment of GLP compliant analytical facility at CSIR-IICT to augment biosimilars characterization in India
Emoluments : Rs. 40,000/- [consolidated]
Essential Qualifications : Masters in Business Administration (MBA) & specialization in Business Analytics / Human Resource Management
Desirable Qualification : Experience in developing business with Pharmaceutical research & industry clients
Upper age limit as on date of walk in interview : 35 years
Information Officer
Name of the Project : EIACP on climate change and public health
Emoluments : Rs. 42,000/- [consolidated]
Essential Qualifications : Post Graduation in Life Science / Environmental Science having good knowledge on computers & disease modelling
Desirable Qualification : Good knowledge on data analytical skills & GIS. 1 or 2 yrs working experience in relevant areas.

Senior Project Associate-I (Industry)
Name of the Project : Process optimization of heterocyclic molecule
Emoluments : Rs. 42,000/- [consolidated]
Essential Qualifications : MSc in Chemistry with 4 years research experience
Desirable Qualification : Research experience in organic synthesis will be preferred

Project Associate-I
Name of the Project : Process optimization of heterocyclic molecule
Emoluments : Rs. 31,000+HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC- NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions ii) and Rs 25,000+HRA for others who don’t qualify (i) above
Essential Qualifications : MSc in Organic Chemistry
Desirable Qualification : Candidates with experience in Org. Synthesis will be preferred

Project Associate-I
Name of the Project : Process feasibility for TCAC & process development
Emoluments : Rs. 31,000/- [consolidated]
Essential Qualifications : B.Tech in Chemical Engg
Desirable Qualification : Experience in process development/experimental work/M.Tech in Chem Engg.

Project Assistant
Name of the Project : Self sustaining medical care facilities for CSIR-IICT staff, pensioners & their dependents along with students & other eligible members
Emoluments : Rs. 20,000+HRA
Essential Qualifications : Diploma in pharmacy with two years experience or B-Pharmacy (registration with PCI)
Desirable Qualification : Experience in process development/experimental work/M.Tech in Chem Engg.

Laboratory Attendant
Name of the Project : Establishment of GLP compliant analytical facility at CSIR-IICT to augment biosimilars characterization in India

Essential Qualifications : BSc/B.Pharm
Desirable Qualification : Experience in pharmaceutical industry to maintain GLP laboratory & wet chemical analysis

Data Entry Operator
Name of the Project : EIACP on climate change and public health
Emoluments : Rs. 16,000/- [consolidated]
Essential Qualifications : Graduation in Computers / Life Science / Environmental Science
Desirable Qualification : Good knowledge on computers & knowledge on data analysis
Upper age limit as on date of walk in interview : 50 years
• Upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the date of interview.
• Experience shall be counted after obtaining the minimum prescribed qualification.
• Candidates possessing essential qualification in the required area/discipline only should apply, others are not eligible. Result awaited candidates are not eligible.
NOTE :
1. The above age limits are relaxable for candidates of statutory groups (SC/ST/OBC) and PWD candidates as per Govt. of India/ CSIR instructions on the subject.
2. The candidates who have already served CSIR-IICT or any other lab/institute of CSIR as any Project Assistant / Project Fellow / JRF (in contract R&D projects) / SRF (in contract R&D projects) / Research Associate etc., for a total period of 5 years or more are not eligible for these engagements. The candidates who have served for a period less than 5 years will have tenure up to remaining period till completion of 5 years.
3. CSIR-IICT reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the award in case of any discrepancy found, in the candidature of any selected candidate at any stage.
4. The selection will be on the basis of interview.
5. CSIR-IICT reserves the right not to fill up a particular position, if it so desires. The number of vacancies indicated above may vary at the time of actual selection.
6. The period of experience in a discipline / area of work, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications for that position.
7. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis initially for a period of six months which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project / satisfactory performance or conduct of the fellow as the case may be and does not entitle him/her for any permanent position in CSIR/IICT.
8. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
Candidates who fulfill the under-mentioned criteria of age, educational qualifications, experience etc., may appear for walk-in-interview with the duly filled application form (download the application form from CSIR-IICT Website) along with one set of attested relevant documents (certificates of all educational qualifications from matric/10th onwards, Experience, DOB, latest Category/Caste Certificate etc) and appear for walk in interview. Candidates are required to bring all the original certificates for verification. Candidates should register their names for walk-in-interview between 09.30 AM to 10.30 AM on 04.01.2023.
