The Berhampur University came into existence on 2nd January 1967 being inaugurated by Dr. A.N. Khosla, the then Governor of Orissa and the first Chancellor of the University. The University was later shifted to the present site known as Bhanja Bihar, named after the celebrated poet of Orissa Kabisamrat Upendra Bhanja. Spreading over an area of about two hundred fifty acres the university is twelve kilometres and 5 kilometers away from the Berhampur City and Sea-beach of Gopalpur respectively.

First Class B.Pharm with Master's Degree in Pharmacy(M.Pharm) in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy or Pharm.D (Qualifications must be PCI recognized) with Ph.D. Degree in any of Pharmacy subjects (Ph.D. qualifications must be PCI recognized)
Consolidated Remuneration : Rs.60, 000/- p.m.
Essential: 10 years experience in teaching in PCI approved/recognized Pharmacy College or Research experience out of which five years must be as Associate Professor in PCI approved/ recognized Pharmacy College
Lecturer : 2 (1-UR & 1-ST)
Specialization : (a) Pharmacology (b) Pharmaceutical Chemistrv
Qualification and Experience
First Class B.Pharm with Master's Degree in Pharmacy(M.Pharm) in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharrqacy (Qualifications must be PCI recognized). A PCI recognized Pharm-D degree holder shall also eligible for the posts of Lecturer in the subject of pharmacology
Consolidated Remuneration : Rs.21, 600/- p.m. to each
Walk-in-Interviewwill be held in the Old Syndicate Hall of Berhampur University on 25th August, 2018 at 11,00 A.M. Interested candidates with owing Qualification and Experience may attend the interview on the above date and time at their own cost.

The appointment will confer no right to claim for the post on regular basis. They also will not be entitled to any other benefits extended to the teachers of the University. University reserves the right to appoint till such time as deemed fit, and/or terminate at any time without assigning any reason thereof. Legal disputes if any, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Berhampur only The appointment will be upto 31.5.2019. The University authority reserves the right to conduct or cancel the interview.
