Post: THIRD PARTY MANUFACTURING MANAGER

Job Responsibility
• Working as a Technical Coordinator between Contract Manufacturing, Pfizer Manufacturing, QA, RA and Business
• Ensuring meeting product costs, supply timelines from third party manufacturers  & quality standards in line with those set by Pfizer QA
• Ensuring Product Supply through Contract Manufacturing (CM) as per Marketing requirements, Pfizer quality and EHS guidelines.
• Production, Scheduling and Material Management for all Contract Manufactured products

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for scouting, evaluation of new and existing manufacturing sites to suit manufacturing and supply needs as per Pfizer requirements
• Liaise with Pfizer QA to get new sites approved if not already Pfizer approved
• Work with Manufacturers QA in getting dossiers and related details required by Pfizer QA
• Liaise with Pfizer QA to get the dossiers approved
• Obtain weekly delivery schedules for ongoing products from Contract Manufacturers and highlight issues affecting production / supplies such as material availability, testing, break-downs, etc.
• Responsible for preparation of Monthly Production schedules for each site.
• Responsible for  preparing Batch Plan
• Responsible for sourcing rate finalisation of products to meet target costs
• Checking various parameters of the cost sheet  - RM, PM, CCPC, Margins etc and getting the same approved from Business Unit Head
• Raising purchase orders in the Pfizer manufacturing system
• Liaise with Manufacturing finance to update costs on the system post approval
• Communicate and implement Price changes to all CM locations and inform the effective lot number to Pricing
• Responsible for application of FDA licenses in coordination with Pfizer Regulatory
• Conduct periodic visits and inspections at contract manufacturing sites to ascertain that all activities are carried out as per Pfizer guidelines.
• Liaison with Pfizer Artworks department to finalise artworks for products and delivering the finalised artworks to the manufacturer
• Implement price and artwork changes with minimum write-offs
• Ensure proper maintenance of stock levels for Third Party product’s raw and packaging material
• Complete Institutional supply orders as required.
• Provide support to TIMS software
• Generate monthly Finished goods report and reconcile with HUB warehouse and submission to Plant Accounts

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
• Assist in managing healthy customer relationships with Contract Manufacturers and internal customers by active involvement, participation and feedbacks.
• Position involves interactions with people across all hierarchies within organization (viz: - Entire Pfizer Global Supplies (PGS), functions from Finance, Business Unit Leads, Regulatory and Legal) and large number of Contract Manufacturing sites.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualification / Experience:
Qualification
• Degree in Sciences or Pharmacy
• Diploma in Materials Management (preferred)
• 8 – 10 years experience in the pharmaceutical / chemical industry of which 2 – 3 years in a similar capacity.
• Experience of managing projects and cross-functional teams
• Experience of networking and team management
