Job Description
• Expert Guidance: Provide scientific guidance and expert advice to the GCC technical teams, ensuring that the organization’s approaches are scientifically valid.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various departments, including MSAT discipline experts, QA, GCC associates …. to integrate scientific insights into their activities. 
• Communication: Facilitate scientific communication and collaboration among the program teams.
• Documentation and right first time: Ensure the scientific oversight of the reports, scientific papers, and presentation materials developed by the GCC discipline experts.
• Regulatory & QA Standard Compliance: Ensure that all scientific activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation based on scientific advancements and emerging trends.
• Training and Development: Mentor and train staff and stakeholders on scientific topics and best practices in close collaboration with the MSAT Scientific experts.
• Checking that the scientific strategy laid out by the program manager and MSAT is being respected.

• Interacting in close collaboration with a large panel of senior scientific experts from a best-in-class MSAT organization will give opportunities in establishing expertise and recognition in various field of activities.
• Seeking mentorship from experienced professionals and offering mentorship to junior colleagues. This fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Leading or participating in cross-functional projects to develop project management skills, improve collaboration, and drive successful project outcomes.
• Identify the needs for change across the current end-to-end process, seeking to simplify and enhance customer experience.
• Gain deep insight into business and customer needs.
• Implement and embed the team’s broader business unit vision over the broader operation and cross functionally.
• Project Management Experience: Leading or participating in cross-functional projects to develop project management skills, improve collaboration, and drive successful project outcomes


Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s Degree ideally with a Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline 
(e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmacy)
• Experience:  at least 10-16 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical MSAT or a related field. A working experience of at least 3+ years as a scientific advisor or in a similar role is key asset.
• Stakeholder engagement experience in an international and matrixial environment.
• Advanced scientific writing skills and capabilities to develop complex validation protocols and reports in compliance with QA, technical and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong communication, team management skills and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate documents.
• Uphold the highest standards of scientific integrity and ethics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Advanced Written and oral fluency in English

Scope :
• MSAT, or Manufacturing Science and Technology, is a critical function within a pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization in general. The GSK MSAT team is responsible for ensuring that products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Here are some key activities carried out by the MSAT team:
• Process Optimization and Troubleshooting.
• Technology Transfer.
• Process Validation.
• Continuous Improvement.
• Technical Support.
• Regulatory Compliance.
• Data Analysis and Reporting.
• Training and Development.
