The University of Hyderabad, a premier institution of post graduate teaching and research in the country, was established by an Act of Parliament on 2nd October, 1974 as a Central University, wholly financed by the University Grants Commission. "Objects of the University" as envisaged in the Act are "to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit and by the example of its corporate life, and in particular to make special provisions for integrated courses in humanities and science in the educational programmes of the University and to take appropriate measures for promoting inter-disciplinary studies and research in the University."
Applications are invited from qualified individuals for Senior Project Assistant (SPA) position, sponsored by the DBT project entitled “Role of HPIP gene in endometrial cancer development: Molecular mechanisms and prognostic significance” (No. BT/PR30788/MED/97/437/2018). We are seeking applicants who are highly motivated with strong academic record in biological sciences at postgraduate level for SPA position. Candidates with prior experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular cloning and gene silencing in cancer cells will be given preference
Senior Project Assistant (SPA)
Essential Qualification : M.Sc with first class in Biochemistry or any Life Sciences subject
Emoluments /per month : Rs. 20,000/- (Consolidated)
Duration : 1.5 year or until the completion of the project whichever is earlier
