GSK India has received a positive recommendation from the Subject Expert Committee, SEC, of CDSCO for inactivated influenza vaccine, split virion vaccine. The SEC recommended that permission may be granted for ages more than 64 years.

Inactivated influenza, split virion vaccine sold under brand name Fluarix Tetra in India which helps to protect from influenza (flu). It works by exposure to a small dose of the flu virus which helps the body to develop immunity against the disease. It will not treat an existing flu virus infection.

NPPA  has taken five more medical devices into DPCO 2013. NPPA has notified that all medical devices including Pulse Oximeter, Blood Pressure Monitoring Machine, Nebulizer, Digital Thermometer, and Glucometer shall be governed under the provisions of DPCO, 2013.

JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, formerly known as JSS University, is a Deemed to be University located in Mysuru, Karnataka. G.S.V.M. Medical College, Kanpur, known for its academic excellence world over , is named after Late Shri Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, a great freedom fighter ,who lost his life at the altar of the communal frenzy in Kanpur in March 1931.
