Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram is an Institute of National Importance established by an Act of the Indian Parliament and under the 2 administrative control of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The Institute signifies the convergence of Medical Sciences and Technology and its mission is to enable the indigenous growth of biomedical technology, besides demonstrating high standards of patient care in medical specialties and evolving postgraduate training programs. Qualification & Experience :
Essential:
JRF : 1st class MSc in Neurosciences/Physiology/ Zoology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology
SRF : 1st class MSc in Basic Sciences and 2 years experience as JRF.
RA : Ph.D in Neurosciences/Physiology/ Zoology/Biochemistry.
Qualification & Experience:
Desirable:
JRF : NET qualified and experience in biochemical estimation.
SRF : NET, ability to record electrophysiological signals and analyse signals, cognitive behavious testing.
RA : Experience in sleep research.
Emoluments per month :
JRF- ` 16,000/-+ 20% HRA (Consolidated) for those having NET and ` 12,000/-+ 20% HRA for others.
SRF- ` 18,000/-+ 20% HRA (Consolidated) for those having NET and ` 14,000/-+ 20% HRA for others.
RA- ` 22,000/-+ 20% HRA (Consolidated)
Maximum age as on 31-7-2012
For JRF/SRF : 35 years
For RA : 40 years
Duration : Three years or till completion of the project whichever is earlier.
