Thapar University (TU) was established on 8 October 1956 as an Engineering College named Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. It is a University established in 1985 vide Sec.3 of the UGC Act, 1956 under notification # F.9-12/84-U.3. Thapar University offers Post-graduate and undergraduate programs in Engineering, Science, Management and Social Sciences.

Title of Project: Development of Treatment and Regeneration Technology for Phytoestrogens from Wastewater Streams
Qualifications:
For JRF: The minimum qualifications are BS 4 years programme/BPharm/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test.
For SRF: At least two years experience as JRF and evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals or M. Tech or equivalent degree in Engineering/Technology
For RA: Doctorate (PhD/MD/MS/MDS) or equivalent degree OR having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/MPharm/ME/MTech
Duration of Project: 2017
Stipend and other allowances: As per CSIR norms for JRF/SRF/RA
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing interview
