It is one of the best place for learning with 2800 beds, 7200 daily outpatient attendance and 47 operation theatres running daily.

The Indian Registry of Pathology was established in 1965 under the auspices of the Indian Council of Medical Research in New Delhi, India as a Centre for collection and distribution of teaching material in pathology. The Registry was renamed in 1980 as the National Institute of Pathology (IOP) in view of its expanded scope and activities.

National Chemical Laboratory Pune, established in 1950, is a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). NCCS is an autonomous institute of Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. It is at the forefront of basic research in diverse area of cell biology. The contributions made by scientists of NCCS have gained worldwide recognition.

National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is an autonomous Institute under Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. NABI aims at catalysing the transformation of Agri-food sector in India by being a nodal organization for knowledge generation and translational science leading to value-added products based on Agri-Food biotech innovations for improved household nutritional security.
