Northeast Frontier Railway has Five Divisions namely, Tinsukia, Lumding, Rangiya, Alipurduar & Katihar & at field level these Divisions are directly responsible for Train operations and reports to General Manager. Each of these Divisions is headed by Divisional Railway Manager, a Senior Administrative Grade officer of the rank of Joint Secretary to Government of India.

It has been decided to conduct “Walk-in-interview 'for filling up the following vacant posts of Para- Medical Staff in this Railway by engaging suitable candidates, purely on contract basis. The engagement will be on a full time basis on fixed consolidated month y remuneration for a period not exceeding 30-06-2018 (i.e. the validity of the scheme) or appointment/availability of regularly selected candidates from Railway Recruitment Board/ or availability of regular railway employee whichever is earlier.

National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) was introduced in India in 2005, by the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Government of India, with a view to realizing the outcomes related to health envisioned in the Millennium Development Goals and other national level health related policies. It has integrated the existing major national level health projects and programmes namely the Reproductive and Child Health II project, (RCH II), Universal Immunization Programme (UIP), the National Disease Control Programmes (NDCP) and AYUSH systems of Health (Ayurvedic, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy). As part of NeGP approval, the Union Cabinet assigned some key tasks associated with Programme Management of NeGP to Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) including arrangements for monitoring and coordinating implementation of NeGP, evolving standards and policy guidelines, providing technical and handholding support, undertaking Capacity Building, R&D, etc.
