Tariff Commission having a multi disciplinary structure of experts in the field of science & technology, cost & financial analysis, statistics and economics, provides research based inputs for informed decision making by Government, based on in-depth study using data on ground realities collected from field.

The  Tariff  Commission  invites  applications  from  eligible  and  interested  officers  of Central  Government/State  Government/Universities/Public  Sector  Undertakings/ Recognized  Research  Institutions/Semi  Goverment  Autonomous  or  Statutory Organisations for filling up the following posts in the Tariff Commission on deputation basis.

For quite a few years since the Rio-Summit, 1992 there have been discussions at various local forum about the requirement of a capable institution to take care of the rich biodiversity of Manipur and its surrounding areas. The inclusion of the North East Region in the list of Mega-biodiversity hotspots of the world caused an ever increased fillip to the researchers, resource planners, environmental enthusiasts and the local think- tanks about stopping depletion of biodiversity in the region and finding scientific ways of sustainable uses of bioresources.

Applications are invited from deserving and suitable candidates for the post of Project Fellow (06) and Junior Research fellow (01) at Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development, Sikkim Centre on contract basis under various research programmes.
