Pondicherry Centre for Biological Sciences (PCBS) serves as a premier research and training institution in the field of Biomedical and Omic’s sciences. Research on subjects such as Bacteriology, Applied Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Transcriptomics, computational omics and Chemotherapy are to be conducted through this workshop. Using a multi-disciplinary training approach, PCBS has planned to conduct a Workshop on miRNA “microRNA Biology, Identification and Application” for post graduate students, researchers, faculties and research scholars.

With reference to the advertisement cited above, it is hereby notified that on account of the recent approval received from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the number of vacancies for the following posts have gone up. Accordingly, the revised vacancies will be as detailed below. These are likely to vary/increase based on the anticipated vacancies due to promotions, retirements, resignations etc.

Pondicherry centre for biological sciences is an Indian based research organization originated in the year 2011. Our main aim is to promote research based activities in the field of molecular infection and immunology. We are fore-runners to establish such research oriented centers in Pondicherry.

Pondicherry University is outstanding among the Central Universities in India. Teaching and research are its primary functions as in other Central Universities. In addition, it has also affiliated colleges located in Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe, Yanam and the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The Union Territory of Lakshadweep is also expected to have a college affiliated to Pondicherry University in the near future.
