  • 5th National Seminar on BIOINFORMATICS, 2014 in SVIMS Bioinformatics Centre

    We extend our cordial invitation to attend DBT sponsored 5th National seminar on BIOINFORMATICS to be organized by SVIMS Bioinformatics Centre, SVIMS University, Tirupati from 14-15th February 2014. The main objective of the National conference is to bring together scientists, researchers, students from academia and corporate companies to share their informatics research experiences in the field of molecular modeling and drug design. Moreover, the participants will get opportunities to enlighten their bioinformatics skills to implement in their respective research field. Researchers will also be encouraged to present their research works.

  • Workshop and Hands - on -Training on Plant DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics of Medicinal Potential at Bose Institute

    Nominations are sought from Heads of Institutions for names (maximum of 2 from each organization) of young faculty members / researchers for inclusion in a Workshop (including theoretical classes and hands-on-training) on Plant DNA Fingerprinting and Chemical Analysis of medicinal potential under the research programme on DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics of Medicinal Potential in Plants from Eastern and North Eastern India.

  • Seminar on GLP and GMP - A Regulatory Perspective in NIPER

    NIPER had successfully conducted 53 training programs under the World Bank sponsored “Capacity Building Project” in the years 2004 to 2008, for the technical staff from government testing laboratories, regulatory bodies, private testing laboratories and analytical as well as production staff from Small and Medium Pharmaceutical Industries (SMPIs). Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India, announced the setting up of a dedicated centre for SMPIs at Pharmaceutical Advisory Forum (PAF) on 23rd April 2008. This Centre offers practical trainings on analytical instruments and conducts seminars on issues of relevance to the Pharma industry like GLP, GMP & regulatory affairs. All these activities have been designed in consultation with SMPIs. This dedicated centre aims at creating synergy between industry and academia.
