  • Work as Executive Director in THSTI

    The Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology (Government of India) has established the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an autonomous institution, as a part of the interdisciplinary Biotech Science Cluster at Faridabad in the National Capital Region. The Institute is designed as a dynamic, interactive organization with a mission to conduct innovative translational research and to develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into tangible products to improve human health.

  • Opportunity in Biosafety Support Unit- Government of India as Scientist- M.Pharm/Ph.D | salary upto 1,25,000

    India Biotechnology Regulations implemented under Rules, 1989 of the Environment Protection Act, 1986 are dynamic and complementing with emerging technologies used for research, product development and progress in science of risk assessment. Government of India has undertaken several reforms in biotechnology regulatory system. To assist Review Committee on Genetic Manipulation (RCGM), a project ”Establishment of Biosafety Support Unit (BSU)” with trained and skilled scientists with specialization in relevant scientific disciplines is being implemented at Regional Centre for Biotechnology. BSU has been assisting in scrutiny of applications received for risk assessment and preparation of reports to facilitate decision making by the competent bodies.

    Applications are invited from Indian nationals for contractual positions i.e Chief Scientific Officer – 01, Scientist (Pharma Biotechnology)-01 in the project titled “Establishment of Biosafety Support Unit (BSU)”. Tasks of Chief Scientific Officer and Scientists are enclosed at Annexure-I. The positions are purely on contract basis and will be governed by the terms and conditions prescribed by Regional Centre of Biotechnology, Faridabad for contract positions.

RCB provides a platform for interdisciplinary research & education at the biotech interface of engineering & medicine, chemistry & physics, agriculture & climate science to empower human resources to drive biotech science and provide a common platform for innovation, enterprise, and industrial development to germinate.
