Dr Akram is the recipient of the prestigious “Best Promising Researcher Award” from UCSI University (Malaysia). He is also a recipient of the Australian Global Talent Visa in 2021. He has published over 110 papers, book chapters and conference papers including high-impact journals. In addition to that, he is the reviewer and editorial board member in several prestigious journals of medicine and pharmacy.
