CSIR - IHBT is the only laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research in the State of Himachal Pradesh (H.P.), India. Institute has a focused research mandate on bioresources for catalysizing bioeconomy in a sustainable manner. Assam University came into existence through Assam (Central) University Act, 1989. It was established in 1994, since then  the University is steadily becoming  an excellent centre of learning. The campus, situated in Dargakona, about 20 kms from  Silchar, is set amid sprawling hillocks, a typical landscape in the North East. The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India. It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007 and came into action on July 2008. Essential Educational Qualifications :
M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics/ Pharmaceutical Technology/ Industrial Pharmacy) with at least 55% marks. CSIR-NET (LS)/GATE/ JAM/ GPAT qualified candidates will be preferred.

Desirable qualifications :
Candidates having experience in animal handling/ cell culture training/ HPLC analysis would be preferred.

Age limit : Below 30 years on closing date of advertisement (Age relaxation will be given as per DBT, Govt, of ndia rules)

Salary : Rs 25,000+ 30% HRA = Rs. 32,500 pm
(As per DBT norms, only if candidate is CSIR-NET(LS)/GATE/JAM/GPAT qualified). For non- CSIR-NET(LS)/ GATE/ JAM/ GPAT qualified candidates, Fellowship as per institute norms

The engagement will be initially for a period of one year which may be extended up to three years maximum depending on  the duration of the sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee
