Par Pharma launch Cortisporin-TC otic suspension to treat otitis externa

Par Specialty Pharmaceuticals, a division of Par Pharmaceutical, Inc., announced the launch of Cortisporin-TC otic suspension (colistin sulfate - neomycin sulfate - thonzonium bromide - hydrocortisone acetate otic suspension).

Otitis externa (OE) is an inflammation or infection of the external auditory canal (EAC), the auricle, or both.Otitis externa is often referred to as "swimmer's ear" because repeated exposure to water can make the ear canal more vulnerable to inflammation.

Cortisporin-TC Otic suspension is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of your outer ear. Cortisporin-TC Otic is also used to treat infections of mastoidectomy or fenestration cavities, which are types of surgery of the ears.Cortisporin-TC otic suspension is supplied in a 10 mL bottle.  A sterilized dropper-cap assembly for use on the bottle of suspension is included in the package.
