Post: Area General Manager / General Manager - Purchase
Job Description:
· Taking care of overall purchase activities (Role of Purchase Head).
· Structuring the purchase department.
· Working closely with quality assurance and quality checking team to establish purchase standards, quality parameters, and quality benchmarks for all import and domestic purchase items.
· Vendor identification, verifying quality parameters, rate negotiations, and finalizing vendors.
· Auditing supplier / material on site as and when required.
· Preparing and executing agreements with vendors.
· Developing new vendors and creating a pool of suppliers for continuous quality supply.
Candidate Profile:
· Knowledge and Experience of Import and Domestic purchase.
· Total experience Minimum 5 years experience in Import Purchase at managerial level.
· Strong negotiation skills.
· Very Good communication skills.
· Experience of purchasing engineering/medical device/pharma items.
Additional Information:
Experience: 15 to 20 years
Qualification: (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Engineering and/or MBA will be preferred), Diploma / Degree in materials management
