The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), Government of India. It is an apex body in India for the formulation, coordination, development and promotion of research on scientific lines in Ayurveda and Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine.
A Walk-In-Interview is being conducted on 18.09.2024 and 19.09.2024 for engagement of Domain Expert (IPR), Consultants (Ayurveda), Consultant (Life Science), Consultant (Scientific Writer) on contractual basis for immediate requirement and panel for future requirement. The contractual tenure of selected candidates may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority on need basis and subject to performance of the individual. The eligibility criteria, such as requisite qualification, experience, age, monthly remuneration and other terms and conditions may be seen as under
Domain Expert (IPR)
Translational Research Intellectual Property Right & Business Development Cell- 01 post
Essential for Domain Expert : -
1. M.Sc/M.Tech./M.Pharm (IPR) from a recognized University.
2. The incumbent should have sound knowledge of Patent Act, 1970 and should possess five years post qualification experience in dealing with issues like filling of Patent, Design, Copy Right & Trade Marks.
OR
The incumbent having 05 years working experience with Patent Office issues in a responsible position dealing with examination and granting of patents will be preferred.
Desirable : -
1. Ph.D. in Concerned subject.
2. Experience in commercialization, marketing of R&D products & Technologies and Trade and Policy Research.
Age limit : not exceeding 64 years as on the date of the interview.
Monthly remuneration : Rs. 75,000/-Per Month consolidated
Consultant (Ayurveda/Pharmacy / Medicinal Plants)-01 post
(For CCRAS Journal Secretariat)
Essential :
1. B.A.M.S from a recognized University.
2. Minimum 05 years post qualification experience.
OR
1. BAMS+M.Sc in Medicinal Plant or
M. Pharma (Ayurveda) from a recognized University.
2. Minimum 03 years post qualification experience.
Desirable :
1. Preference will be given to those possessing higher qualifications, viz., MD/MS (Ayurveda), Ph.D. (Ayurveda) / (Life Sciences) from a recognized University.
2. Capable of online management of journals.
3. Good publication in credit in reputed Journals
4. Skill in drafting and editing research papers, technical reports and other publications etc.
5. Knowledge of computer applications like MS Office.
Age limit - Not exceeding 64 years as on the date of interview.
Monthly remuneration : Rs. 50000/- per month consolidated
Consultant (Life Sciences)-01 post
(For CCRAS Journal Secretariat)
Educational Qualification :-
Having PG degree in Life sciences (Botany, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmacognosy & Microbiology), M.Sc.in Medicinal Plant and M. Pharma (Ayurveda) related disciplines as per the requirement of intended research work from a recognized institute.
Experience: -
1. The candidate shall have minimum 05 years’ experience in Research or Teaching and other related fields.
2. Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point, etc. is essential.
Desirable :
1. Preference will be given to those possessing higher qualifications Ph.D. (Life Sciences) from a recognized University.
2. Capable of online management of journals.
3. Good publication in credit in reputed Journals.
4. Knowledge of English language and editing, Research paper and other publication etc.
5. Skill in drafting and editing research articles, technical reports etc.
Age limit - not exceeding 64 years as on the date of interview.
Monthly remuneration : Rs. 50, 000/-per Month consolidated.
Consultant (Chemistry)- 01 post
Essential:-
1. M.Sc in Chemistry with 05 years research experience in the field of Drug Standardisation and related field.
Desirable:- Doctorate degree in Chemistry
Age limit :- not exceeding 64 years as on date of interview.
Monthly remuneration : Rs. 50, 000/-per Month consolidated
Consultant (Scientific writer)-01 post

Educational Qualification: -
Having PG degree in Ayurveda or Life Sciences (Botany, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmacognosy and Microbiology), M.Sc. in Medicinal Plant and M. Pharma (Ayurveda) or related disciplines as per the requirement of intended research work from a recognized institute.
Experience: -
1. The candidate shall have minimum 3 years’ experience in scientific writing/editing and three good research papers published in Scopus or PubMed indexed reputed scientific journals.
2. Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point, etc. is essential.
Desirable :
1. Capable of online management of journals.
2. Good publication in credit in reputed Journals.
3. Knowledge of English language and editing skills.
4. Skill in drafting and editing research articles, technical reports etc.
5. Training/certificate course in Scientific Writing.
Age limit -not exceeding 64 years as on the date of interview.
Monthly remuneration : Rs. 50000/- per month consolidated
• The interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria and willing to appear in the Walk-In-Interview may apply in the prescribed proforma and bring a self-attested copy of certificates in support of age, qualification and experience with two passport size recent photographs along-with original documents for verification. The candidates are required to appear for interview at the Ayush Auditorium, First Floor of the Council. The retired personnel applying for Consultant (Admn.) and Office Assistant should carry the self¬attested copy of PPO.
• The candidates must reach the venue at 10:00 AM for registration on the scheduled date. No candidate will be entertained beyond the prescribed time.
• The engagement would be purely on contractual basis and may be terminated at any time without any notice and no claim for regular appointment will be entertained. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on the date of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
