Computer knowledge
Candidate from any training institute having basic knowledge of computer as per the syllabus prescribed vide Government Resolution No.: CRR/102007/120320/GP dated 13/08/2008 and dated 18/03/2016 of the General Administration Department of the State Government. Must possess certificate/mark sheet. OR Certificates of having completed any Diploma/Degree or Certificate Course in Computer Knowledge from a Government recognized University or Institute or Certificates having Computer as a subject in the Degree or Diploma Course OR Passed Class-10th or Class-12th Examination with Computer Subject Must have. Also candidates who do not have such certificate can also apply at this stage. But such candidates will have to produce such certificate of passing Basic Knowledge of Computer before the Appointing Authority before getting appointment. Otherwise will not be eligible for appointment. Also the Appointing Authority will "cancel" the selection of the candidates in such cases.
Scheduled Date for Educational Qualification/ Age Limit/ Additional Qualification:- Date for educational qualification, age limit, non-creamy layer certificate and other necessary qualifications in case of all categories of candidates mentioned in the advertisement. The status of 15/09/2024 will be taken into consideration.

As per the provision made in the letter dated 31/01/2024 of the General Administration Department, the scale of examination fee for all direct recruitment examinations conducted by the Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board will be as follows.

The fees paid shall be refunded to those candidates who appear for the examination.
Candidates appearing in the examination will be entitled to refund of the examination fee.
1) Detailed instructions for applying (including those mentioned in paragraph no. 7 of this advertisement) and this entire advertisement should be read carefully by the candidate himself before applying online.
2) Candidates do not have to attach any certificates while applying online. But, while applying online, the applicant has to fill the entire details in the online application based on the details in the certificates. Hence all his certificates like, educational qualification, age. School Leaving Certificate, related to Category(SC/ST/SEBC/EWS), Disability (if applicable). Original certificates of ex-servicemen (if applicable) and other qualifications are to be filled in the online application based on such certificates. The application will be liable to be rejected due to incorrect details in the application. Hence the candidate has to fill the online application form carefully.
3) Method of Examination - In the selection process the candidate will have to appear in a competitive written examination with MCQ type questions as mentioned in paragraph no.9 of the advertisement. Which should be noted by the concerned candidates.
4) If required by the board, certain instructions regarding the examination will be sent by SMS to the mobile number. or will be given by e-mail. Hence. Mobile number and e-mail must be mentioned in the relevant column in the application form and till the entire recruitment process is completed, it is necessary and in your interest to retain the mobile number and e-mail mentioned at the time of filling the application form.
