Job for Pharmacists under Office of Civil Surgeon cum Chief Medical officer

In the light of the direction given by the letter no. 2463, dated 24.08.2021 of the Campaign Director, National Health Mission, Jharkhand, Ranchi, applications are invited from eligible candidates against the following contract based vacant posts under District Health Committee, Pakur.

The number of different posts and the sequential monthly honorarium, qualification and eligibility are as follows

Pharmacist (R.B.S.K.)
No of posts : 8 (UR-4, ST-4)
Qualification : Diploma in pharmacy from a recognized institute. Registered under Jharkhand state pharmacy council computer proficiency (MS office) & Internet
Salary Rs. : 12,000/-
Ayush Pharmacist
No of posts : 1 (UR-1)
Qualification : • Ayurvedic Comounder : Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy from Govt recognized Institute. 
• Unani Compounder : Diploma in Unani Pharmacy from Govt, recoginized Institute. Homeopathic Compounder : Diploma in Homeopathic Pharmacy from Govt, recognized Institute.
Salary Rs. : 6000/-
Pharmacist (NTEP)
No of posts : 1 (UR-1)
Qualification : • Diploma in Pharmacy from a recorgnised Institution. 
• Registerd under Jharkhand State Pharmacy council Computer Proficiency (MS Office & Internet)
Salary Rs. : 15,000/-

Maximum age limit for selection
for calculation of age, in the light of the notification number 7A/Niti-07-11/2010-Ka0 2096/Ranchi, dated 25.04.2011 of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms and Official Language, Jharkhand:-
Maximum age limit
General : 35 years
Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class : 37 years
Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe- Male and Female : 40 years
Female-General Category, Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class : 38 years
Maximum age limit for persons with disabilities
General : 40 years
Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class : 42 years
Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe- Male and Female : 45 years
Female-General Category, Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class : 43 years


Selection Conditions
I. They will be contracted to work against the approved honorarium on contract basis.
II. District level reservation roster will be applicable in all the above posts.
III. The contract will be applicable for one year, as per requirement it can be extended every year on the basis of Annual Performance Appraisal.
IV. All the certificates submitted by the selected candidates will be verified within three months from the institution issuing the certificate. If the certificate is found to be wrong, the contract of the concerned personnel will be cancelled with immediate effect and legal action will be taken against them.
V. The contract of the contracted personnel on contract basis can be terminated by giving one month's notice or one month's advance honorarium.
VI. The candidates who will submit CGPA score card for educational qualification will also submit CGPA conversion chart along with the mark sheet.
VII. Applications for only one post by the applicant will be accepted. In case the applicant applies for more than one post, the application will not be accepted.
VIII. Shortlisted candidates will be included in the further selection process by the committee as per the advertised eligibility and qualification.
IX. Applicants residing in Pakur district will be given priority.
Χ. The decision of the District Selection Committee will be final and binding in the appointment process.
XI. The District Selection Committee will finally approve the merit list.
XII. Age will be calculated from the date of publication of the advertisement.

Selection Process
The selection process is determined as follows:-  
1. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in written examinations/ technical examination (Skill Test) / interview. 2. All candidates will ensure to send the application form through registered post / speed post only.
3. Reservation policy of Jharkhand Government will be applicable. Candidates of Jharkhand State will have to submit caste/EWS certificate issued by the Sub-Divisional Officer of Jharkhand State for reservation in their respective category (ST, SC, BC-I, BC-II & EWS).
4. The final merit list will be published in the office of Civil Surgeon/Deputy Commissioner and on the website of Pakur district  pakur.nic.in.
5. The list of candidates for selection will be prepared in two parts. Part-A will contain the name of the post, roster point, vacancy, names of eligible candidates, marks obtained and merit number. The second part-B will be considered as waiting list. The waiting list will be valid for one year. This list will also be prepared in merit order and will consist of only as many candidates as the number of posts is eligible for the said category. The candidate will be automatically selected in merit order from among the candidates selected from Part-A list. The selected persons will be informed by registered post.
6. At the time of joining, it will be mandatory for the selected candidate to submit an affidavit to the effect that he has not been convicted in any criminal case and a health certificate issued by a civil surgeon.


Application Process:-
I. Candidates having the above qualification and eligibility can submit the application in the following prescribed form by 05:00 PM on 25.09.2024 along with self-attested copy of required mark sheets and certificates, residential certificate issued by the Sub-Divisional Officer for claiming reservation, caste certificate, matriculation certificate related to date of birth, certificate of computer proficiency (if applicable) and two self-attested passport size photographs along with the application form. Applications received after 05:00 PM on 25.09.2024 will not be considered.
II. If the application is submitted in any other office, their application will be automatically cancelled.
III. Application Fee For each post, it will be mandatory to attach a demand draft of Rs. 400/- for General Category/Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class applicants and Rs. 200/- for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe applicants with the application form. The draft will be payable in the name of District Rural Health Society, Pakur.
IV. The application complete in all respects can be submitted in a sealed envelope by registered post/speed post to the Civil Surgeon cum Chief Medical Officer Office, Sonajori, Pakur. Provide the following information clearly on the top of the envelope:-
