The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. It is an apex body in India for the formulation, coordination, development, and promotion of research on scientific lines in the Ayurveda and Sowa-Rigpa systems of medicine.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (Chemistry) - 01
Walk-in-interview for the eligible candidates will be held on purely temporary basis in IMR research project at Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), 4 CN Block, Bidhannagar. See. V, Kolkata-700091. The required qualifications and other details are as under
Title : Development of quality standards of selected extra pharmacopoeial drugs (Anukta Dravyas) used in Local health traditions collected from different regions of India.
Duration : 09 months
Essential Qualifications : Post-graduate Degree (M.Pharm) in Chemistry / or Masters in Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institution.
Desirable : The preference will be given to candidate with higher qualification and hands on experience on HPTLC / HPLC / UV- Spectroscopy
Age limit : Not exceeding 30 years as on 01.01.2024
Monthly remuneration : Rs. 37.000/- + 27% HRA per month
Interested candidates fulfilling the essential qualifications and age limit may apply in the proscribed proforma along with self attested copy of certificates in support of age and essential qualification, experience certificate (if any), and two passport size recent photographs. The candidates are required to appear for written test followed by interview at The Seminar hall of CARI, Kolkata as per scheduled date and time. I he Candidates will be required to carry their original testimonials for verification. The interested candidates must reach the venue at 10.00 am on the stipulated date and beyond that, no candidate will be allowed for interview.
Notes:-
1. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for regular/permanent appointment will be entertained.
2. The engagement will be initially for a period of six months, which may be extended up to the tenure of the project subject to satisfactory performance.
3. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on 01.01.2024 & relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt, of lndia rules.
4. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
