Ulhasnagar is a municipal town and the headquarters of the Tahsil bearing the same name. It is a railway station on the Mumbai-Pune route of the Central Railway. Ulhasnagar, a colony of migrants in the aftermath of Partition, is 43 years old. Situated 58 Kms from Mumbai, the once-barren land has developed into a rich town of Thane district. Originally, known as Kalyan Military transit camp, Ulhasnagar was set up especially to accommodate 6,000 soldiers and 30,000 others during World War II. There were 2,126 barracks and about 1,173 housed personals.
To take preventive measures to prevent the spread of Corona (Covid-19), to appoint eligible and aspiring candidates to work in Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation on contract basis on temporary basis for six months. WALK INTERVIEW has been conducted on 04/10/2021 to 08/10/2021 at 10.00 am on the date shown in front of the following posts. However, eligible and interested candidates should be present for the interview.

Important Suggestions
1) Necessary manpower is proposed as per government guidelines and previous experience.
2) All the above mentioned Covid Centers are required to function at full capacity. Therefore, the number of reported demands is the maximum. Manpower will be made available on request as the number of patients increases.
3) The post of HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR is optional but as per government guidelines. They may be replaced by regular government officials.
4) If AYUSH medical officer is not available for CCC as per the guidelines of the government, it can be done by appointing a dentist and giving proper training.
Terms and Conditions
1) The advertisement will be prepared by making a draft quality list as per the requirement i.e. as per the requirement of NMC.
2) The period for the above posts is 6 months or till the onset of Corona (Covid-19), whichever comes first.
3) Must be willing to work with collective commitment at the field level and be able to work physically.
4) Monthly Salary will be decided after negotiations.
Other Terms and Conditions
1. As the appointment is temporary, the selection of candidates will be done according to the local conditions and needs. No inquiries should be made over the phone.
2. Considering the district boundary ban and traffic ban, preference will be given to the candidate if he / she resides in Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation area.
3. Age Limit : The age of the open category candidate should not be more than 38 years on the date of advertisement. The age limit for backward class candidates will be 5 years. Right to relax these conditions for posts with low response.
4. The above educational qualifications and experience will be required.
5. Appointed candidates will be required to serve Covid-19 patients.
6. The post is purely contractual.
7. The contract for this post will be done through objective evaluation through back-in-interview.
8. Candidates are required to attend the live interview along with a passport size photograph along with the original documents of eligibility and experience and a set of photocopies of the required original documents. After scrutiny of the preliminary documents, the interviews of the eligible candidates will be conducted.
9. For the proof of date of birth of the candidates, attested copy of birth certificate or school leaving certificate or attested copy of the certificate of passing the examination in schools with date of birth must be attached.
10. If the candidate is from backward class then by mentioning caste clearly in which category he is falling. It should be mentioned.
11. If the applicant is a woman, it is necessary to attach the marriage registration certificate. (Govt. Approved)
12. Applications of candidates who do not hold the prescribed qualifications will be deemed ineligible if the applications filled in full or incorrectly are not attached to the required attested copy of the required certificate regarding age, educational qualification, marks, caste certificate, experience etc.
13. Appointed candidates will be appointed on contract basis after signing the agreement in the prescribed format.
14. Incoming candidates will have to be present for the interview at their own cost. 15) As the above posts are purely contractual, there will be no right to seek permanent appointment to this post.
15. Candidates to be appointed from the draft merit list (panel) will be required to appear within 48 hours.
16. It will be up to the officers / department heads to decide the nature of work for the above post.
17. It will be mandatory to provide these posts for eight hours per day (as per hospital convenience). However, the head of the department will have the power to fix the working hours of the post.
18. No correspondence will be given in case of disqualified candidates.
19. All rights regarding appointment of invited candidates are given by Hon. The Municipal Commissioner has reserved it for himself. No one can make any claim in this regard.
20. The applicant will not be able to make any claim regarding the possibility of more / less change in the number of posts. The Commissioner, Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation, Ulhasnagar reserves the right to postpone and cancel the interview. No one can make any claim in this regard.
