Project Title: Building integrated pipeline for cancer genome analysis: Role of mobile genetic elements in cancers.
Job Description: Bioinformatics analysis, Software development, Programming, Wet Lab work.
Duration: The post is valid upto duration of the project. Continuation is subject to satisfactory performance.
Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree or above in Bioinformatics/Computer Sciences, IT, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences,Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences or Statistics, Agriculture, Veterinary, Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology from a recognized University/Institute and having some experience/skills/interest in bioinformatics, programming, computational or software development work/molecular biology work.
Desirable:
Preference will be given to BINC (Bioinformatics National Certification)/ICMR/ CSIR /UGC/ JRF/ NET qualified candidates. However, Non- NET qualified candidates can also apply.
Emoluments:
For candidates with Post Graduate degree in Basic Science (with NET qualification) or graduate degree in Professional course (with NET qualification) or Post graduate degree in Professional course: Rs. 25000 + HRA for first Two years and Rs. 28,000 + HRA for the third year (SRF, subject to requisite conditions). For candidates without NET qualification: Rs. 12,000 + HRA per month for first two years and Rs. 14,000 + HRA for the third year (SRF, subject to requisite conditions).
