Post: Manager / Assistant Manager
Job Description:
- Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the process are met as agreed upon with the client Manage large team to produce high-quality results and enforce ideas for operational excellence
- Lead process enhancements and re-engineering initiatives
- Escalate issues related to deviation from standard to respective authorities (internal or external) Be the owner of project specifications
- Communicate regularly with customers for project updates Follow-up on production/operations progress and ensure proactive actions to meet targets Identify skill gaps in the teams and provide inputs to training team for specific trainings Prepare monthly performance report & present the same to management Resolve issues on disciplinary matters. Escalate un-resolved issues on time
- Conducts regular reviews with team managers and skip level meetings with the entire floor to be updated on all floor issues / concerns.
- Develop strategic & tactical plans to identify, analyze and effectively respond to client’s needs, emerging trends and best practices Conduct regular meetings with the support teams namely
- Technology, IT, Transition to ensure that the internal SLAs are met
- Responsible for budget management & cost control measures Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Conducting performance reviews/appraisals for team managers Assist in hiring process, training & development Lead, motivate and develop frontline
- Team Leaders and foster a culture of teamwork and performance Act as the primary point of contact for all complaints, enquiries and issues
- Ensure process compliance with all business rules and regulatory directives, and adherence to all operational processes and procedures
Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree/PhD degree preferably in Material Science/ Physics/ Chemistry with strong background in Nanotechnology is desirable
Experience 4 to 6 years, with 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager
Experience in handling scientific databases and or STM publishing is preferred Soft Skills: Good Communication and interpersonal Skills, Entrepreneurial spirit, People- management skills, self-motivated
