Vacancy for M.Pharm, MSc, M.Tech in CAMO-Net India project at PGIMER

The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.

Applications are invited for the position of "Knowledge manager fellow, Technician and JRF’ in a research project entitled "Centre for Antimicrobial Optimization Network- India (CAMO- Net-India)”.

Knowledge manager fellow
NUMBER OF POST : 01
DURATION : 3 Years
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
1. Work across all project teams and groups of CAMO-Net to ensure co production and maximize shared learning
2. Engage and contribute to KM group in monitoring, evaluation, and learning of CAMO-Net, ensuring the network is fulfilling its purpose
3. Develop and implement knowledge mobilization strategies to effectively communicate research-generated knowledge to diverse audiences, including policymakers, practitioners, and the general public.
4. Generate engaging research output reports and nurture relationships with external partners and relevant stakeholders to facilitate knowledge transfer and application of research insiehts
QUALIFICATION 1. Essential Qualifications: MPH/M-Pharm/MSc (Life science)/Technology/ B-Tech/ M-Tech/ Computer Science or equivalent.
2. Required Skills
a. Excellent written and verbal skills
b. Strong planning and organizational skills to coordinate with various research teams and stakeholders.
c. Experience in developing and implementing knowledge management strategies and workflows.
d. Track record of working in antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
3. Desirable:
a. Candidates who have experience of working in collaborative projects.
b. Help in Developing a Digital Framework for AMR- related work.
EMOLUMENTS : As per Wellcome trust

Technician
NUMBER OF POST : 01
DURATION : 3 Years  
key responsibilities : 1. Assist researchers in developing and optimizjng analytical methods for specific antibiotics or any other antibiotics methods
2. Provide technical input and perform sample preparation, chromatographic conditions, and mass spectrometric paramet
3. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and tuning of the erS‘
analytical machine (LC-MS, HPLV, Auto-analyzer) to maintain optimal performance.
QUALIFICATION
1. Essential Qualifications: Masters in pharmaceutical analysis/analytical chemistry/medicinal
chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology or equivalent with at least one year of hands-on experience
2. Required Skills :
a. Proficiency in bioanalytical techniques such as HPLC
and LC-MS
b. Experience with sample preparation methods specific to antibiotics, such as extraction, purification, and concentration techniques.
c. Strong skills in operating and maintaining bioanalytical instruments, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.

JRF (Junior Research Fellow)
NUMBER OF POST : 01
DURATION : 3 Years  
key responsibilities : 1. Development and evaluation of POC diagnostics.
2. Optimize and refine diagnostic platforms for enhanced sensitivity, specificity and speed
Essential Qualifications : Masters in science in Microbiology /Biotechnology/ Desirable Molecular experience.
Required Skills
a. Excellent written and verbal skills
b. Strong planning and organizational skills to coordinate with various research teams and stakeholders.
c. Experience in developing and implementing knowledge management strategies and workflows.
d. Track record of working in antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
Desirable:
a. Candidates who have experience of working in collaborative projects.
